It is an absurd notion that we can maintain a superior military presence half a world away while the single largest
transfer of wealth in the history of the world is occurring in favor of those that wish to see us undone. Intelligent
people will learn from their mistakes and not make the same blunder twice. Those of extraordinary intelligence
learn from the mistakes of others. For example: we witnessed the collapse of the Soviet Union after having
squandered their resources trying to project a military presence world wide and we applauded as the walls fell
in Berlin ending the Cold War. Has America learned anything from this? Evidently not for  we find ourselves
embroiled in  battle that has cost us 560 billion dollars to date with no end in site. Well that's not completely
correct. There is and end coming.... our own. We will be bankrupt long before the Muslims capitulate. And
that's who we're fighting. It's not just a few radicals hiding out in the mountains  We have the whole Muslim
world pissed off at us, at last count  somewhere between .8 and 1.2 billion of them.
    In the last 30 or so years the OPEC nation's revenues from oil are estimated at 10 trillion, much of that
coming from America. We are providing our "allies" with an enormous amount of wealth so that they turn
around and purchase weapons and provide logistical support for enemy combatants.
      Did you ever wonder why we didn't attack Saudi Arabia  instead of Afghanistan and Iraq, All the
perpetrators of 911 were Arabs, not Afghans, not Iraqis. No instead we have a retarded chimpanzee
in the white house sling'n ape do at anyone that rattles his cage.
Our homeland is in the middle of the worst mess we've seen in almost a century and there is no end to it.
Now  we want to open up another battle front with Iran. Oh golly why not! There's another 65 million crazy
rag heads we can piss off. It's true that a nation that doesn't practice the art of war gets lazy and will soon be
over run but our boys are ready to come home after five years of this stupidity. Not so they can turn right
back around go for a 3rd or 4th or 5th tour in that shit hole. Enough is enough for Christ's sake!

While discussing divergent theories of "The creation", a born again fundamentalist, in an
effort to gain intellectual high ground, resorted to a well worn tactic employed when rational
thought fails and logic clouds the conversation. We go reaching for the cliche.  "Ignorance is
bliss" he says.....Well, thanks to my Christian upbringing, I resist the urge to throttle the
dumb bastard.  I said "that was the way it was meant to be"...right?
We are to believe that God:.....the creator of the heavens and the earth: the programmer
of the whole incredible and mystifying universe, creator of all life on earth from the depths of
the ocean to the top of the mountains....was so naive that he could not predict the nature
of the very creature he built from the ground up. Were it not for the guile of that lowly snake
creature (probably a female  of the species) which convinced Eve (the original dumb blond)
that she should eat of the fruit from the tree of knowledge, we would all be much the happier
for there would be no soil to turn, no crops to sow, no fear for beast, man, or bad weather.
No worries of traveling salesmen, evangelist or other con men trying to separate you from
the fruits of your labor. Adam would be laying on his backside staring up at sky, watching
the clouds roll by, not a care in the world. No romantic tension. No need for entertaining
conversation. No honey do's, greens fees, collection plates tax collectors or Jehovah witnesses.
The whole sorry ass story of mankind, the intrigue, the deceit, the lies, famine, plagues, daily
mass murders in the name of God would just be a wisp of what if... an ethereal echo of some
mandate in the distant past..... a mandate that no one in their right mind would ever violate....
